When booking with Trista Yates Photography, your session fee is nonrefundable and includes the time discussed for your session. Your session fee includes the time for your session, time spent driving to and from your session, and editing your photos and getting your online gallery completed for you, as well as 15 edited digital images.
We will be traveling to Dothan or the outskirts once a month. If it is not that time, and we need to travel
outside the Enterprise area for your session,
a $25 traveling fee will be added.
If you choose to download the entire gallery,
it will be available for purchase.
Cancelation and Rescheduling
Canceling a session forfeits your nonrefundable session fee.
You will be permitted one reschedule due to only these circumstances:
If you have been diagnosed with Covid-19, flu, or any other communicable illness, in the last 7 days.
If your child is sick or has some sort of infection, such as ear infection, etc. (Remember we want them to be happy!)
If you have been exposed to these illnesses in the last 7 days.
Unavoidable emergencies (These do not include minor inconveniences.)
Please let me know as soon as possible about your need to reschedule, so that I may fill that time spot if able. More than one reschedule cancels your session altogether and forfeits your session fee. When this happens, if you still choose to book with us, you'll be required to pay another nonrefundable session fee upon booking.
If your session needs to be rescheduled due to the photographer (same reasons permitted to the client apply here) you will know as far in advance as possible.
Please be on time for your session! Most of the time we rely on daylight for sessions, and in the evening hours this is limited. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your session, your fee is forfeited and you'll be required to book again. Being late does not extend your session time. If it is due to end at a certain time, that is when it will end.
If you have to reschedule, your new session with be on or after 30 days of the original appointment.
Your Online Gallery
Once completed, your gallery includes all good edited images for your choosing and will be online for you to place your product order. When you view the images in your gallery, they will have my watermark on them. (It will say Trista Yates Photography.) When you download the images, the watermark goes away. You'll be required to enter a PIN to download your images, and this PIN will be provided to you. Once your gallery is ready to be downloaded, you'll receive an email with a download link. The images will be downloaded in a .zip file, and you will need to extract them. If you need help with this process, we are happy to assist you however we can.
Your gallery will also include a print release.
Your Product Order
We are a full-service photographer. This means our end goal is to walk you from start to finish, booking your session to having art work of your family on your walls and in your home. If you decide to only download your digital files and print your art with another company or app, we cannot guarantee the quality of your art. Most places that are not a professional lab do not have printers calibrated to the high quality of these images and they will not print like you see them, so please keep that in mind when ordering.
When you order images through TYP, they will come to us before you see them, in order to guarantee the quality that you deserve with your art. After that, we will ship to you or schedule a time and place to meet and get your art to you. Payment is due upon placing the order. We can work out a payment plan if needed, but that will need to be communicated and once your order is paid in full we will send it to the lab to be filled.
Model releases are not required to be signed in order to go forward with your session, unless your session is part of a model call or advertised to boost our portfolio. If you do not sign the release, we will not post your images online or use them in any commercial way.

Unless advertised otherwise, please do not bring pets to your session as quite often they are a distraction for your children. Please be sure that your young child has been fed a snack. If it is an afternoon session, make sure they have had a nap. We want the littles to be happy during your session!! When it comes to wardrobe changes, keep in mind that these changes will take from your shooting time. Also they must be agreed on before the session. Please be sure to take note that if your session is a couple's session, there will be some photos beyond the traditional. I like to capture the interaction between you two. These photos may be classified as "steamy" but nowhere near boudoir or the like, as you will be fully clothed. Also, if you are having a family session, I may get my "helper"...AKA my daughter, to help with the littles while we snap a few couple shots.
What to expect from your photographer
When working with me, I try to be as professional as possible. I love making people laugh, and you will do a lot of giggling during your session. If you order art work, it will be delivered or sent to you within 14 days of being paid in full. We will keep you updated if there are delays in this; however, there usually are none. I do everything in my ability to make sure my clients are happy and usually my clients turn into good friends!
Your session fee is $150. For this $150 you will receive your full session as well as 15 images, and any extra digitals you order.
I also offer full gallery pricing if you're interested, along with prints and products! I'll be happy to send a list of my pricing for your art work if you'd like, but keep in mind you're not obligated to order prints when working with me.
